This meeting is for current juniors/rising seniors to discuss the factors that are important in selecting a college. These may include characteristics such as major, location, culture, extra-curricular opportunities, learning philosophy, facilities, and resources.
This meeting is for current juniors/rising seniors and parents to begin the college list-building process. In this initial meeting, we will discuss a list of 20-30 potential colleges with the goal of coming to a priority list of 10-12 colleges.

The Mauler Institute, LLC will provide a single review and critique of a completed application of your choice (TAMU, SMU, Yale, UCLA, etc.) which includes all application data sheets, activity list, essays, resume (if submitted), etc., and will give you a written critique in addition to a 1:1 meeting where we go through all application materials together and discuss suggestions to improve the strength of the application. ALL application materials are required 1 week before our meeting.
Based on my experience as an interviewer for both Harvard and U Penn, I will help students prepare for their college or scholarship interviews. This service includes 2 mock interviews (recorded if desired) with verbal and written critique. Students will also receive a verbal application review and access to proprietary interview prep materials.
After the student takes the appropriate assessments, The Mauler Institute, LLC will analyze the results and will provide written report with recommendations. During the 60 min discussion, we will provide a detailed overview of the college application process and will help the client create a strategy for how to most effectively approach the college application process.
We offer hourly consulting to address specific situations, such as explanations for interruptions in schooling, or recommendations for specific educational opportunities. We do not offer hourly consulting for regular application essays.
